A quick look at 2023
Every January first (for the past few years — 2020, 2021, 2022) I like to look at some numbers and stats from the previous year.
Content
This was once again a solid year with exactly 365 posts. It’s getting a little harder in some ways; the flow is great, but continually finding new things to share can be challenging at times.
On the other hand, I read more books this year than probably any other year in my life (68 finished this year), and that’s helped tremendously.
Analytics
Total pageviews on the site rose to 60,324, though that’s still not really my goal for doing this. As I mentioned last year, people consume a lot of my content via Medium and Substack, which is fantastic. I’m not looking to force people to the blog to read content and I’m happy for folks to read it wherever it might be.
Popular Posts
Here are the post popular posts from 2023. As with each year, many of them weren’t written in 2023 but these are what people read the most last year.
