Accept the inevitable
There are things in this world that we can and should choose to fight against — improving the climate, housing the homeless, and uncovering cures for various diseases. We might not win all of these fights, but they’re good ones to take on.
On the other hand, some things are inevitable, mostly related to technology, and fighting is literally a waste of time. Some are good things, some are bad, but they’re all coming whether you like it or not.
Cryptocurrency will become increasing difficult to track. It’s already very hard to track, and that will only deepen. This could be a good thing for privacy or a good thing for criminals (or both?), but it’s coming and we need to be ready for it.
VR and AR will continue to improve. I use my Meta Quest 3 almost every day, and the Apple Vision Pro has features that are absolutely amazing. If you have either device, it’s the worst version of them that you’ll ever see as they’re only going to get more and more immersive (which could be good or bad).
AI will keep getting better and more pervasive. There are a lot of good things with AI, but a lot of bad things too (job loss, questionable communications, etc). Again, the issue here isn’t whether to push forward with AI or not, but simply accepting that it’s coming.
