In an effort to help me keep up with everything I post each week, here is my latest “Sunday Summary” of my posts from the week.

Mon, June 19: If it costs less, we care less
It’s one of those psychological things that I don’t really care for, but it always matters; if you pay more for something, you ascribe more value to it, even if it’s not worth what you paid.

Tue, June 20: Writing a summary is 100x more valuable than reading one
While I enjoy many of the summary tools out there, like Blinkist for books and podcasts like Founders, the people that put together those summaries are getting immensely more value from creating them than we do from reading them. That’s what this weekly summary is for, on a much smaller scale, to give me a chance to read back through my old posts again.

I’ve done a poor job of reading David Ogilvy’s work over the years, and I’m starting to correct it. This was one of his more popular quotes, where he encourages companies to stick with their current ad campaigns longer than they generally do.
